The Art and Culture Association is organizing the 12th edition of Solidar’livre on November 28th and 29th and December 1st and 2nd in the 8 Mai hall at the port of Antibes. SOLIDAR’LIVRES offers books a second life, making it the annual opportunity to dust off desks and bookshelves, and clear out basements or attics.
The aim of the event is to establish a system for collecting used books (literature works, art books, documentaries, comics) in order to offer low-priced sales to the public.
This event aims to connect enthusiasts, collectors, occasional sellers, and bargain hunters, while also promoting the civic circulation of book collections.
Finally, it invites buyers to engage in a “good deed” as Christmas approaches through the donation of books.
The proceeds from this sale will be used to resell the collected books to benefit a solidarity initiative and to offer a show in January 2013 to children whose families seek help from charitable associations.
