From June 8 to July 1, the 12th edition of the Handi Voile 06 Tour, organized by the Alpes-Maritimes Department in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee, the Departmental Canoe-Kayak Committee, sailing clubs, and host communities, sets sail.
Handi Voile 06 offers people with disabilities the opportunity to discover numerous nautical activities for free.
The Alpes-Maritimes Department aims to promote integration and social diversity, rehabilitation, and the personal development of people with disabilities through nautical activities.
Since 2006, the Department has organized, in partnership with the Departmental Sailing Committee 06 (CDV 06), a summer Handi Voile 06 tour on Handiplages and adapted nautical bases in the eight municipalities of the department to introduce participants to sailing and kayaking activities for free.
The Handi Voile 06 tour takes place at the beginning of summer*:
Welcoming people with disabilities, regardless of the type of disability, except for medical contraindications (a swimming certificate is recommended; however, the Qualified Technical Manager of CDV 06 may decide on-site to change the support on which the participant embarks, depending on the weather and disability).
