Last week, the 15th edition of the Handi Sailing Tour began with the first two stages. Last Thursday, the Nautical Club of Nice hosted the participants, and on Saturday, it was Vallauris Golf’s turn. Others will follow in the coming weeks.
This unique event in France offers free nautical activities accessible to people with disabilities at various handi beaches and/or nautical centers in the department.
The Handi Sailing Tour 06 is co-organized by the Alpes-Maritimes Department and the Departmental Sailing Committee 06, in partnership with the host municipalities and supported by sailing clubs.
Lasting one hour, these outings are supervised by certified instructors aboard trimarans, collective boats, and kayaks, respectively provided by the Departmental Sailing Committee 06, the Nautical Club of Nice, Cannes Youth, and the Departmental Canoeing Committee.
