Organized by the Hรฉliotrope association, the Nice European Short Film Festival will celebrate its 15th anniversary with numerous events and unique programs.
A festival is too short! is an emerging festival on the French Riviera, bringing together the best of young European creativity over 8 days each year through numerous competitive programs centered around a film genre, the short film: competitions, special screenings, professional meetings, and musical evenings, 8 days of festivities await you!
In perpetual motion, the festival aims to step out of bounds, shifting the barriers between artistic disciplines. In 2000, A festival is too short! was created with a dual challenge: affirming social diversity and audience crossover by promoting openness and accessibility to culture through the 7th art.
On the other hand, the festival is driven by a desire to establish itself as the cinematic event of the autumn in the Alpes-Maritimes and thus generate economic resources for the region.
Four competitions: European, experimental, local shorts, and animated shorts.
Out of competition: SNCF Thriller Prize โ Focus on Croatia โ Special “15 years” program โ Scopitone โ School screenings
