Organized by the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free sports initiation event will take place on Wednesday, August 1st in Villefranche-sur-Mer.
It is intended for children and teenagers aged 4 to 14, and to participate, one simply needs to go to the Plage marinières from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Young participants will be able to take part in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, baseball, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, handball, field hockey, judo, karate, road safety courses (FFST), pétanque, scuba diving (ESSM), sports boules, rural sports, tennis, table tennis, volleyball.
The Sports Caravan’s primary aim is to impart the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” stand, along with various games, contests, and activities related to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
