On Thursday, October 25 at 2:30 PM, the General Assembly of the Association of Mayors of the Alpes-Maritimes will be held, presided over by Honoré COLOMAS, Vice President of the General Council and Mayor of Saint-André-de-la-Roche.
It is the commune of Tourrette-Levens that will host the 163 mayors of the department, within the wedding hall of the Town Hall, 70 place Paul Simon.
Eric CIOTTI, Deputy, President of the General Council, and Christian ESTROSI, Deputy, President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis will open the discussions.
They will be joined by several personalities, such as Laurent CHADAJ, Territorial Director of the Caisse des Dépôts, and Karine TOUBIRA, from the Banque Postale, who will lead a round table on the financing of local authorities, a very sensitive topic currently for the municipalities.
Christophe MIRMAND, Prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes, will close this Assembly whose agenda is of utmost importance for the Mayors in the current economic context.
The day will conclude on a humorous note with the play “Mal de Maires,” organized in partnership with ERDF (Electricity Network Distribution of France), a historical partner of the communes. It is a humorous and quirky show about the trials, joys, and sorrows of elected officials today, free and open to the public, starting at 8 PM.
