From November 12 to 19, 2012, 16 orchestras, 60 musicians, and 6 nationalities will offer 8 days of the best contemporary jazz in 13 venues in La Gaude.
A festival that dares to create while remaining accessible to all, not forgetting jazz education for the 750 children of La Gaude schools. In short, fresh, new, and friendly, orchestrated by the association So What.
A festival that embraces all styles of 21st-century jazz, from improvised music to contemporary music, including world music, the percussions of Les Frapadingos, or the purest swing.
International stars like American Barre Phillips or Argentine Minino Garay, and the best of regional and national jazz, including the Jean-Marc Jafet Quintet, Jérôme Vinson Trio, or the Compagnie So What will enliven this festival which has become a reference.
The 2012 Trophées du Jazz de la Côte d’Azur will reward a jazz group from our region. The 2012 patron is Denis Antoine, founder of the Ramatuelle Jazz Festival.
