The 18th edition of the National Communication Competition COM Olympiades

Latest News

Every year, the COM’OLYMPIADES Competition, created in 2002 by the BTS Communication of the Parc Impérial in Nice, invites all Bac +2 students in France to compete based on a communication issue from a partner advertiser.

This year, in an exceptional context related to COVID-19, it is the SDIS 06, the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service of the Alpes-Maritimes, that undertook the exercise of the brief centered around a very sensitive issue: the fight against sudden death in adults due to cardiac arrest, a major issue that accounts for approximately 40,000 deaths per year in France, even though a large part of these tragedies could be avoided through extensive training in first aid techniques.

Mr. Stéphane MARTIN, General Director of ARPP, the Professional Advertising Regulation Authority and President of the COM’Olympiades jury, made sure to thank the SDIS 06, which “in addition to all its essential missions for life, especially in an exceptional sanitary year, but also particularly for the region, due to natural disasters, wanted to remind everyone that every citizen can save their neighbor.”

This cause sparked strong mobilization among the jury members, representatives of communication consultancy agencies, professional organizations, and National Education, who selected the finalist submissions. There was also strong involvement among the students who made very high-quality recommendations.

There is no final ceremony due to health conditions, but the votes are indeed counted:

– 1st prize: Team 56 from Lycée Jeanne Perrimond in Marseille, composed of Kerboethau Benjamin, Bourbia Thomas, and Corbi Nicolas.

– 2nd prize: Team 59 from Lycée Jeanne Perrimond in Marseille, composed of Antus Elisabeth, Fages Pauline, and Coignard Clémence.

– 3rd prize: Team 86 from Greta of Lycée Paul Cezanne, composed of Touzalin Delphine, Ferrat Justine, and Camacho la Rizza Estefania.

– 4th prize: Team 91 from École Sup de Pub in Lyon, composed of Charroin Alice, Gerberon Jade, and Schild Marie.

– 5th prize: Team 48 from Lycée Jeanne Perrimond in Marseille, composed of Dehan Louann and Cuny Léa.

It is with enthusiasm that a new team of 1st-year students from the BTS Communication at Lycée du Parc Impérial is now taking over to organize the 19th edition of the Com’Olympiades, alongside a new partner.
