Here we are, at the 19th Lusophone Cinema Week. A longevity that has not been easy, but is based on the determination of a team to continue the adventure that began at the end of the last century: to offer the local audience some of the most significant cinematic productions from the Lusophone world, but not only that.
Knowing how to cultivate a cultural and human space based on a shared language, as well as on the exchanges it has been able to develop through its history and diversity. An identity that has found its place and richness in the various realities formed by Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, and Timor-Lourosae, transcending far beyond its geographical limits.
A Lusophone Cinema Week also gives a place to music, with the launch day featuring local folk groups representing Portugal and Cape Verde.
A Brazilian music concert, featuring the Nina Papa Bossa Joia quartet, is scheduled for this Saturday at the Laure Ecard space, located in Nice Saint-Roch.
