The 19th stage of the Caravane du Sport summer tour stops in Valberg this Sunday.
Organized by the departmental Olympic and sports committee of the Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free sports initiation event
is intended for children and teenagers aged 4 to 14 years, and to participate, you simply have to go to the Sports Park from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In Valberg, young people will be able to participate in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, badminton, baseball, basketball, fencing, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, judo, pétanque, bowls, Sports in a rural environment, table tennis, shooting, volleyball.
The Caravane du Sport aims, in particular, to transmit the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the “Red Card to Violence” booth and various games, competitions, and activities on the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Educational and cultural games at the presentation stand of the National Sports Museum.
