From Monday, September 22 to Friday, September 26, the Interregional Directorate of Penitentiary Services PACA-Corsica and the Regional Olympic and Sports Committee of the Cรดte dโAzur are organizing the 2nd edition of the PACA Penitentiary Games.
The CROS Cรดte d’Azur has made actions in the penitentiary environment to encourage inmates to practice sports its specialty.
Thus, the Penitentiary Games, experimented in 2012, will gather at the CREPS of Boulouris competitions and sports activities as well as exchanges, especially regarding sports ethics.
This event will allow inmates from 45 establishments throughout France, as well as various accompanying personnel (sports movement personnel, penitentiary administration personnel, youth judicial protection, judicial services, national education, health services) to compete by participating in different sports competitions.
The opening ceremony will take place in the presence of: Philippe PEYRON, Interregional Director of Marseille, Gilles LECAOQ, Delegate of the MILDECA, Franรงoise SAUVAGEOT, Vice-President of the CNOSF, Gaรซlle LENFANT, Vice-President of the Regional Council.
