The “Cannes photo awards” contest organized by the old port of Cannes had the theme “lights of the ports” this year.
This edition of the contest registered 1,079 participants and approximately 1,600 photos were submitted:

A jury composed of genuine professionals and image enthusiasts will award the “Cannes photo awards”:
Guillaume Plisson, professional photographer, President of the jury
Franck Dosne, director of the port of Cannes
Jérôme Kelagopian, professional photographer, specialized in boat photography
Bernard Naccache, photography professor at ESRA Nice
Christian Sinicropi, Michelin-starred Chef of La Palme d’Or (Hotel Martinez).
The winners of the different categories will be announced during the awards ceremony to be held on Friday, July 1st on the Pantiéro esplanade at the port of Cannes.
During this evening, guests will have the opportunity to explore the exhibition of photos and monumental sculptures.
This exhibition will then be freely accessible on the Pantiéro esplanade until August 19th.
This evening will also be an opportunity for guests to participate in workshops on the theme of photography and to enjoy specialties prepared by renowned Cannes chefs: Bertrand SCHMITT (Majestic Hotel), Mario D’ORIO (3.14 Hotel), Sébastien BRODA and Pascal PICASSE (Grand Hotel).
During this evening (by invitation), guests will discover an exhibition of photos and monumental sculptures.
About ten monumental works by the artist Nicolas LAVARENNE will be assembled.
