As every year, the city of Nice, aside from being the one of the French Riviera, will transform into the capital of culture and sport by offering a varied range of events and festivities accompanying the Azurean summer, culminating in the Francophonie Games. Nice Jazz Festival, Tour de France, Crazy Weekโฆ The choice is yours!
Art and modernity enthusiasts will be delighted with the 5th edition of the Crossover. This event will take place from May 31 to June 1 across five locations: Le Chantier du sang neuf, the castle park, the opera house, old Nice, and Hi Beach.
Those who prefer the limelight will be pleased at the Arรจnes de Cimiez on June 14 and 15 with two plays, including a work by Goldoni.
The Prom’party will organize free concerts between the Albert 1st garden and the Negresco hotel.
The Nice Jazz Festival from July 8 to 12 will delight genre lovers between Massรฉna square and the Verdure theater. This year, besides the “off” events, recitals will be held in the communes of the Metropolis, thus allowing the upper region to swing.
The Verdure theater is preparing numerous shows: Crazy Week from July 16 to 20, Laughing Beaches at the beginning of August, recitals including Noรซlle Perna on July 30 and 31, and Sylvie Vartan on August 4. Cirque du Soleil will perform from July 18 to 28.
The Nikaia Palace announces five shows for July, including The Lovers of the Bastille.
This brief overview of Nice’s festivities for a summer under the stars would be incomplete without mentioning the Tour de France, which, after starting in Corsica, will make a stop in Nice.
