As part of the National Proximity Composting Week, the city of Nice and the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis would like to thank the numerous residents involved in the operation of the proximity composting area at the Maison de l’Environnement.
To this end, a friendly morning event will be organized this Saturday at 10 a.m. to exchange ideas, motivate, and discover the results of a very productive year in composting. This meeting will also allow us to share news and upcoming developments regarding the composting area.
Since its launch in 2014, this initiative has been steadily progressing: over 280 residents are registered, and more than 2,700 bio-buckets containing kitchen fermentable waste have been deposited in 4 years. This collection represents a total estimated weight of 9 tons that has been processed on-site over four years.
