Organized by the departmental Olympic and sports committee of Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the departmental council and the departmental directorate of social cohesion, this large free sports initiation event will take place this Wednesday at the Gymnase le Planet.
It is intended for children and teenagers aged 4 to 14, and to participate, you simply need to go to the Gymnase le Planet site from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In Carros, young people will be able to participate in a multitude of sports activities: athletics, badminton, baseball/softball, basketball, football, golf, gymnastics – trampoline, handball, field hockey, road safety course (FFST), pétanque, sport boules, rural sports, tennis.
The Sport Caravan aims to convey the Olympic values of respect, friendship, and excellence. To this end, workshops are set up at the stand “Red Card to Violence” and various games, contests, and activities on the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
As a common theme: a scientific animation on the theme “sport and environment” with the association “les petits débrouillards.”
