The first time it was threatened, then postponed to Sunday, September 6, the Etape du Tour will ultimately not take place this year.
The race, which was initially expected to bring together 16,000 cyclists from around the world, a number later reduced to 10,000 riders, was supposed to follow almost the same route as the second stage of the Tour, including the Saint-Martin, Turini, and Eze passes.
The participants will automatically be re-registered for the 2021 edition, unless they decide to withdraw.
