At 2:30 PM at the Forum des Auteurs – Jardin Albert 1er, the Mayor of Nice, accompanied by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt, honorary president, and Franz-Olivier Giesbert, artistic director, will inaugurate the 23rd edition of the Nice Book Festival.
He will then present the Nice Baie des Anges Prize to the writer Jean Siccardi for his novel “L’auberge du gué,” published by Calmann-Lévy.
The Nice Book Festival 2018 will take place on Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, 2018. Its program, centered around the theme “Why Write?” will offer meetings, debates, symposiums, conferences, round tables, and activities for all audiences…
Join us at the Jardin Albert 1er, the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, the Louis Nucéra Library, the Hôtel Aston La Scala, the Lycée Masséna, and the National Theater of Nice for three days dedicated to this profound questioning that embodies all the mystery of the writer: “Why Write?”.
