The 29th edition of the Italian Film Days will be joyful and eclectic with a multi-form, multi-genre, and “multi-emotion” selection reflecting Italian cinematic production. From March 17 to 29, it will be a rich, warm, astonishing, sometimes troubling, but always exciting rendezvous at the heart of Italian cinema!
The program includes emerging productions and nods to heritage, fiction, documentary, and animated films woven into comedies, dramas, crime films, and musicals, with almost all films being premieres in Nice and in France for some. Let’s not forget the encounters with professionals who dream and make films happen!
This Monday, March 17, the opening day starts at 5 PM with the meeting “PARLIAMO ITALIANO” featuring institutional, associative, and professional actors working to promote and disseminate Italian culture in the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region. State of play, challenges, and perspectives.
At 9 PM, the festival opens in the presence of private and institutional partners and launches the competition, followed by the screening of the film “La Kryptonite nella borsa” by Ivan Cotroneo.
