For its second year, the BA06 brought together all the local players involved in the growth of the innovative economy. It was an opportunity for young innovative companies to realize their projects.
This second edition of the BA06 enabled the 72 young innovative companies present to turn their projects into reality. Indeed, this event is dedicated to entrepreneurs looking to sell their first innovative products/services and/or seeking funding to accelerate their development. The Sustainable Development Commission of UPE 06, the organizer of the BA06, introduced them to institutional and private investors, partners, support structures for creation and innovation, incubators for young companies, and financiers (individuals or private entities).
Moreover, 25 partners each offered to invest €100,000, amounting to €2.5 million, to create a seed fund for companies in need.
Yves Grosso, president of UPE06, expressed being “very happy and very proud of this second edition, which went very well.”
Christian Estrosi, deputy mayor of Nice, emphasized his desire to make the Nice Metropolis “an important hub of attraction for companies.” He also reminded the 72 young companies present that the Metropolis is there to guarantee them its “unwavering support: political, strategic, and operational support.”
