The 2nd edition of the Occitan Dictation in Pelhonenc will take place at 7 PM at Culture 06, located at 501, Route des Preisses in Peillon.
The author is none other than Antoine Passeron, the former mayor of the village.
The purpose of this event is to restore the noble status of Nissart, which is more known for its oral tradition than for its written form.
The Dictada Occitana (Occitan Dictation) was created in Castres in 1998 and then in Nissa in 2003. This year, it will take place in 44 cities across Occitania, as well as in Paris, Barcelona (Catalonia), València, and Albocàsser (Valencian Country).
