This weekend, Nice will host the 35th edition of the “Minerals, Fossils, and Cut Stones Show” at Parc Phoenix.
The event, organized by the Association of Naturalists of Nice and the Alpes-Maritimes in partnership with the Nice Natural History Museum, will bring together some of the world’s best specialists in the mineral field.
The general public will be able to acquire or admire thousands of high-quality specimens from around the world: crystals, true natural gems that combine perfect shapes and a variety of colors, some of which are faceted for use in making jewelry; meteorites; and fossils, remnants of animal or plant organisms now extinct.
An exhibition on “Curious Stones” will also be presented to the public. Unique for their shapes, colors, or inclusions, these stones shaped by Nature offer us a play of evocation and exploration.
