The 3rd Citizen Rally of L’Ariane: Middle School Students Discover Their Neighborhood

Latest News

Discovering and getting to know your neighborhood is a fun and educational activity and a great opportunity to unite the residents and stakeholders of the neighborhood around a common project.

Yesterday afternoon, the 3rd Citizen Rally of the Arian neighborhood allowed more than 120 third-grade students from the four schools in the neighborhood (Prévert, Pagnol, Cassin, Piaget) to participate in this friendly event under the theme of citizenship.

The team members, accompanied by their teachers, educators, and mediators from ADS and CLAJ, discovered the emblematic places of their neighborhood and participated at various sites in fun activities and informative quizzes: discovering the values of sport at the municipal pool, conducting a police investigation at the police station, discovering the asylum seekers’ reception center of ATE, gathering around the values and symbols of the Republic at the library, in the annex town hall, or at the Le Village social center, quizzes on living together with the Appese association, meeting the Association of Paralytics of France, the Manufabrik and Galice associations, the GHAP; Ariane Cleanliness Resident Group, combating discrimination with the House of Justice and Law, learning first aid with the young Firefighters’ class, etc.

An excellent initiative for discovering the neighborhood and its places of life and work.
