The people welcomed in the services of the Nice Communal Social Action Centre or in partner associations* have few resources but a lot of creativity!
Thus, each service or association has organized clothing and accessory-making workshops throughout the year, using only recycled materials. This activity aligns with sustainability and educates towards alternative consumer choices.
All these creations will be showcased this Friday at 2 PM at the Théâtre Francis Gag during a fashion show themed around tales from around the world.
A jury (composed of Fatima Khaldi-Bououghroum, Deputy Mayor of Nice, Catherine Moreau, Deputy Mayor of Nice, Sophie Bereny, member of Alternatiba, Chantal Nakari, singer and Nice jury for the selection of incredible talents, Aline Buffet, Director of the private fashion school “Aline Buffet,” and Jérémy Ziedek, Head of Emmaus) will select the winning model.
The winner will be awarded the “Janiak Trophy,” created by sculptor Stéphane Janiak and made entirely from recycled materials.
