Having been committed to the world of associations for many years, Carrefour is organizing the 5th edition of Boucles du Cœur, its solidarity event in support of children in need, until June 28, 2015.
This year, the funds raised at Carrefour Nice TNL will support the association “Fête le Mur” with specific activities on the weekend of June 12, 13, and 14.
As every year, the hypermarkets and supermarkets of the Carrefour group are mobilized for six weeks to support associations working in favor of children. In 2015, the new edition of Boucles du Cœur is organized for the benefit of 200 local associations throughout the country and L’Etoile de Martin, which supports research on pediatric cancers and provides well-being to sick children.
In 2014, the 4th edition of Boucles du Cœur raised nearly 1.5 million Euros for the supported associations.
How to participate in Boucles du Cœur
Carrefour Nice TNL is supporting “Fête le Mur” from Nice Saint Augustin, a local association with the goal of developing, in partnership with different national, regional, and local structures, a social integration program for young people from disadvantaged suburbs through tennis practice, primarily in France, with development abroad.
The funds raised during “Boucles du Cœur” will be used to help children meet groups from other “Fête le Mur” sites for sports and friendly encounters (inter-site tournaments, aspects of openness, diversity, solidarity, and learning the rules).
Many activities are planned in-store:
Friday, June 12: Association stand and presentation of its approach in the shopping mall.
Saturday, June 13: 3 stands selling cakes, pizzas, pastries, coffee, cotton candy… run by volunteer employees to raise funds.
Customers can also participate by making a donation at the checkout or online (www.lesbouclesducoeur.fr)
