The cultural and artistic event that takes place every summer in Nice is back!

Following Un ร‰tรฉ pour Matisse (2013), Promenade(S) des Anglais (2015), Ecole(S) de Nice (2017), and Lโ€™Odyssรฉe du Cinรฉma (2019), this fifth edition, initially planned for 2021 and postponed to 2022 due to the health crisis, will celebrate the deep connection between the city of Nice and flowers.

Born from an idea by the Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, and coordinated since 2013 by Jean-Jacques Aillagon, the Biennale of Arts is a much-anticipated cultural rendezvous every summer in the Azorean capital.

This year again, the event will highlight Nice’s cultural and artistic significance, as it aspires to become the European Capital of Culture in 2028. The city’s cultural stakeholders have embraced this unifying theme to design 11 exhibitions that will be available to the public from June 9 and throughout the year.
