The Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) is organizing the 5th local edition of the national contest “My Thesis in 180 Seconds” this Tuesday at 6 PM at the Maison de l’Etudiant in Nice. Inspired by “Three Minute Thesis (3MT®)” in Australia, this science communication contest is organized in France by the Conference of University Presidents (CPU) and the CNRS.
This year, the jury in Nice, made up of personalities from entrepreneurship, research, and communication, will be chaired by science journalist Mac Lesggy.
This year, 18 doctoral candidates will have the boldness to take on this challenge. The first prize of the jury and the audience award will then participate in the national semi-final which will take place in Paris on April 6th (one candidate per university grouping), and if selected, in the national final in Toulouse in the month of June.
