For the 2015 edition, scheduled for June 28th, the goal is to reach 1,000 participants so that as many people as possible can take part in this friendly and supportive race and make an even more significant donation to INDIGO.
This running event, exclusively reserved for women aged 15 and over and held alongside IRONMAN France-Nice since 2011, has generated great enthusiasm among Sunday runners and more experienced participants alike since its first edition.
Since then, the enthusiasm of the participants has only continued to grow, and the event even reached its record number of participants in 2014 with 750 registered, with registrations closing prematurely, leaving many disappointed.
Let us also remember that IRON GIRL France-Nice is run in support of the INDIGO Association, which aims to improve the quality of life and care for children treated in the hemato-oncology department of L’Archet Hospital and the Lenval Foundation in Nice. IRON GIRL France-Nice donates 2 EUR to the association for each registration.
