Prime Minister Jean Castex announced that the health pass would become a “vaccination pass” in early 2022, which can only be activated with a full vaccination schedule and no longer with a simple negative Covid-19 test.
To enter places subject to this pass (restaurants, cultural venues, leisure facilities, etc.), a negative Covid test will no longer be sufficient: one must necessarily have been vaccinated (or recovered from Covid) and have received a booster dose.
The interval for the booster dose will no longer be 5 months but rather 4.
A bill will be presented to the Council of Ministers on January 5th before being voted on by the Chambers.
