The traditional Christmas swim will have a special guest: The mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, who is known as a good long-distance runner but hasn’t yet joined the ranks of swimmers.
The “multi-sport” mayor, welcomed by co-presidents Jean-Claude Poirier, Bernard Nucera, and Arnaud Berthier, will dive alongside the people of Nice into the Mediterranean Sea around noon during this festive and convivial morning. Another way to take the plunge!
Starting at 8:30 in the morning, on the south sidewalk of the Promenade des Anglais and Ruhl beach, the FSGT departmental committee organizes its traditional Christmas Swim. From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., various activities will be offered.
