The Village Running Expo Marathon of the 6th edition of the Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes Marathon officially opened its doors today in Nice to welcome the thousands of running enthusiasts who have come to participate in this great running event.
It is under a sunny sky and along the shimmering waters of the Mediterranean that runners begin to flow into the village set up on the Promenade des Anglais, just a few meters from the official starting line from where more than 12,500 runners will set off this Sunday, November 10th, with the starter’s gun to be fired by Paula Radcliffe, the event patron.
Occupying 2,000 m² on the Nice seafront, it is an opportunity to meet the numerous partners of the Marathon and to equip oneself from head to toe. Equipment suppliers, tourist offices, charitable associations or race organizers: all runners, beginners or experienced, French or foreign, will find all the latest trends in running here.
The Village Running Expo Marathon will be a mandatory stop for participants who have come with family or friends to pick up their precious race bibs that will allow them to cross the starting line.
