The 6th edition of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) has just been published.

It reveals which countriesโ€”and which citiesโ€”attract, retain, and develop talents the best. Two rankings that can guide your expatriation choices…

The GTCI report evaluates the economic, educational, scientific, regulatory, and political environments that enhance talent competitiveness in 125 countries and 114 cities.

How do they develop, attract, and retain their talents, one of the key elements of a territory’s success?

The country ranking sees Switzerland, Singapore, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Luxembourg in the Top 10 (in order).

In the city rankings: Washington, Copenhagen, Oslo, Vienna, Zurich, Boston, Helsinki, New York, Paris (63.5/100 points), and Seoul.

The other French city making the list is Nantes (70th with 39.8/100 points).

Enough to make many mayors of other large and medium cities envious to be included.
