Continuing its commitment to becoming a benchmark in Sustainable Development and given the success achieved in previous editions, the City of Nice is launching the 6th edition of the Environment Trophies, an idea contest open to everyone for a greener City!
Individuals, associations, schools… All the people of Nice are invited, through a participatory democracy approach, to contribute as actors to the improvement of the living environment of their city by participating in the Environment Trophies.
This year, the idea contest is organized into 2 categories:
1- Category “All Environmental Themes”
2- And category “Innovation and New Technologies in Environment”
The projects selected by a jury will be awarded financial grants of up to €3,000 for the first category and up to €5,000 for the second.
In 5 editions, about 300 projects have already been proposed! Nearly 150 of them have been selected and have either been completed or are in progress…
Educational vegetable gardens in various primary schools, a fashion show, and an exhibition of outfits made from recycled materials…
Ecology Boxes distributed to families in energy precarious situations, a photographic exhibition on the floral world or on the work of cleanliness agents in the Metropolitan territory…
A traveling wooden path to raise public awareness of the difficulties faced by people with reduced mobility, or the exchange of ecological bags for plastic bags are among the projects that have caught the jury’s attention in previous years…
