This year, for its 6th international Torball tournament, ANICES brought in the cream of the European Torball crop:
The two teams from NICE, MARSEILLE, MAGDEBURG, TERAMO, TURIN, SALZBURG, MOL, and the UNADEV SELECTION, which includes the best French players!
Starting at 8:30 AM, the matches began quickly, and the crowd was already large.
The ANICES 1 team, without their player Cédric (who was with the UnaDev Selection), had to complete their lineup, so they called upon Jérôme, a new Torball licensee since January, and Mikaël, the women’s section coach, allowing the official players, Sebastien, Bernard, and Jean-Philippe, to approach the competition more calmly!
The tournament started off challenging, and the team lost the first two matches, but unlike the reserve team, ANICES 1 managed to bounce back and secured consecutive victories!

After the girls’ achievement in December 2014, this is the first time the ANICES 1 team has reached the second step of the podium in its international tournament, and the reserve team has achieved such a good result by finishing in sixth place!
