This festive event is part of a solidarity initiative aimed at raising awareness about the value of water and the importance of preserving it, as it is essential for everyone’s survival and well-being. For the 4th year, Alain Bernard, Olympic Champion of the 100m at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, is the patron of the Night of Water.
The people of Nice are therefore invited to meet on Saturday, June 1, from 4 p.m. at the Saint Roch pool to take part in numerous activities in support of UNICEF France.
The donations collected will contribute to funding a water and sanitation access program in Togo.
In 2012, more than 220 FFN clubs participated in this large-scale solidarity operation and collected more than €325,000.
