On Thursday, May 16, 130 children aged 8 to 12, students from Port School, Ségurane College, and Risso College, will participate in the 7th edition of the Citizen’s Course, organized by the J space of the association La Semeuse.
Representatives from various professions will introduce them to the institutions that form the foundation of our society: the High Court, the Rusca Palace, the Nice City Hall, including the City Council chamber and the Department House.
Within the J Space of La Semeuse, students will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from the Regional Council, firefighters, and military personnel responsible for national service and defense appeal days.
The dialogues thus established will enable them to better understand the social rules of the game in which they are full participants, and to better grasp the rights and duties of citizens. This fun and educational operation allows for “humanizing” the institutions and highlighting their indispensable role.
At 4:30 PM, at the Serruriers Block in Old Nice, the students will receive their diplomas in the presence of Lauriano Azinheirinha, Deputy Mayor for Education and Youth.
