Today recognized as one of the most important departmental events dedicated to recruitment, the 8th Employment Forum will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Exhibition Palace.
An aggressive policy in favor of employment and economic development is being implemented by the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur. It is, moreover, one of the key focuses of the metropolitan budget for 2013.
Numerous actions have been conducted since 2008: actions by the integration-employment service and the Community Local Mission Objectifs Jeunes Nice Côte d’Azur to promote the social and professional integration of the most disadvantaged groups, support for business creation, economic and tourist promotion of the territory internationally, attractive event policy, etc.
Among these actions, the organization of the Forum, which each year offers more than 2,000 jobs provided by the 150 companies present, on a single day.
In 2012, during the forum, more than 12,000 interviews took place on-site, and 265 employment contracts were concluded at the end of the event.
Again this year, the exchanges will undoubtedly be productive. Within thematic villages, job seekers will be able to find information on various professional fields, attend and participate in round tables and workshops on professions or integration, training, and employment support measures. Additionally, they will also receive personalized advice (writing a CV, cover letter, support for disabled people, business creation and takeover, etc.)
