The 9th edition of Cinealma was a resounding success thanks to the quality of its films and an ever-increasing number of spectators.
The date is already set for the next edition, celebrating the 10th year of this adventure, at the heart of which passion and volunteerism are key elements.
A final clap for the mayor of Carros and the founder of the event, Charles Scibetta, and the new programmers, his daughter Laura Scibetta and Hubert Corona.
Here is the list of winners from the 9th edition, unveiled on Sunday evening:
First prize: Les Raisins de lโEspoir, by Bay Okan
Special prize: Les Chemins de la Mรฉmoire, by Jose Luis Penafuerte
Audience favorite: Come il vento, by Marco Simon Puccioni
Final words from the president of the association, Francoise Lecouffe:
“I thank, on my own behalf and on behalf of the association Cinรฉactions, the spectators for coming in large numbers to attend the 9th edition of the CINEALMA festival, this year paying tribute to Spanish cinema.
No fewer than 33 films from various Mediterranean countries, including 14 premieres, were screened during this must-see event for cinema lovers.
Once again, this year Cinรฉalma succeeded in its cultural project aimed at all audiences: schools and seniors enjoyed a special program.
I believe that this programming left no one indifferent with powerful and touching films conveying magnificent and unifying messages.”
