The 9th edition of the international film festival on the theme of disability, Entr’2 Marches, has awarded its prizes.

Latest News

This year, more than 700 films from 90 nationalities were received by the organizing committee. Of these, 39 were selected for the official 2018 competition under the discerning eye of actress and director Chantal Lauby, the festival’s patron for the past few years. Unable to attend, she sent a congratulatory message to the winners during the closing ceremony from the set of her upcoming film “Qu’est-ce qu’on a encore fait au bon dieu?”.

Seven films related to disability, either directly or indirectly, were awarded by an exceptional jury and its President Nima Raoofi, an Iranian-born director who was recognized a few years ago at the Entr’2 Marches festival.

The Latvian film “Just, Go!” by Pavel Gumennikov received the Entr’2 Marches Jury Prize and will be screened for Cannes residents tomorrow (Sunday, May 20) at 2:45 PM at the Palais des Festivals before the film that will receive the Cannes Film Festival’s Palme d’Or.
