The commissioning of the A8 highway connection ramp to the M6202 bi is a new step in a large overall project aimed at reducing road network congestion and facilitating traffic flow on this axis, while improving the quality of life for residents.
This comprehensive project, initiated by state services and declared of public utility in 1994, was taken over by the General Council, which aimed to accelerate the completion of this major south-north service axis of the Var Valley and the entire valleys of the mid and high country.
With a total cost of 6.283 million euros excluding tax, the works were financed by the General Council of Alpes-Maritimes (until the end of 2011), and the Nice Cรดte d’Azur Metropolis (starting in January 2012).
This connection ramp from the A8 highway to the M 6202 bis, in the Nice-Carros direction, will be free for all users.
