The Administrative Court validates Olivier Bettati’s election to the Municipal Council.

After a period of withdrawal, Olivier Bettati once again makes his voice heard to announce and comment on the rejection of the appeal aimed at nullifying the election of the candidates of the group he presides over in the Nice City Council.

bettati-6.jpg The unfortunate candidate for the Senate who missed the election by only 3 votes takes this opportunity to stigmatize the American trip of the Mayor of Nice and his numerous staff, and also takes a stand following Christian Estrosi’s statement where he publicly demanded the dismissal of the Prefect.

After his last expensive expedition to New York, Mr. Estrosi already fancied himself Mayor, Prefect, Prosecutor, and Archbishop.

The Administrative Court of Nice, in its great wisdom, reminded him who wanted to bring down the heads of prefects as well as his political opponents that in our country, one cannot say, write, and demand just anything.

I am pleased that the Court rejected all the fallacious arguments put forward by the Parisian lawyer chosen by the Mayor’s henchmen to try to annul our election within the Nice City Council.

I renew, in my name and on behalf of my fellow list members, my thanks to the 14,000 people of Nice who voted for us and assure them, once again, of my total commitment to Nice.
