The Most Beautiful Landscapes of the French Riviera as a Backdrop
This dream marathon offers its competitors a stunning route linking the cities of Nice to Cannes, passing through five iconic towns of the Alpes-Maritimes: Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, and Vallauris Golfe-Juan. An entirely flat and coastal course awaits the expected 10,000 participants, providing an unobstructed view of the Mediterranean and the top tourist spots of the department.
A Grand Celebration for Everyone
This sporting event will also be a grand celebration for everyone with musical and sporting activities offered throughout the four days in its departure and arrival villages and along the route. Everyone will have the opportunity to marvel at the local craftsmanship and treasures presented by the seven towns along the way. This visual spectacle will also spotlight local music and street performances with the participation of numerous Azurean music groups.

For a bit of history…
Registrations for the 1st edition of the Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes Marathon opened on October 8, 2007, and it was Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice, who received the first bib of this inaugural edition during the official event presentation last October.
Since September 4, the loop is closed as all 10,000 bibs have been attributed, and as a nod, it was Mr. Patrick Lanteri, a firefighter from Monaco, who received the last bib!
