Charles Ange Ginésy, President of the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes, handed out surgical masks to the elected officials of the SIVoM Val de Banquière, including Jean-Jacques Carlin, Vice-president of the SIVoM.
Founded in 1994, the SIVoM Val de Banquière brings together 12 municipalities (Duranus, Falicon, Levens, Saint-André-de-la-Roche, Tourrette-Levens, Aspremont, Castagniers, Colomars, La Roquette-sur-Var, Saint-Blaise, Saint-Martin-du-Var, La Trinité) and manages various responsibilities.
Environmental issues were the impetus for the creation of the SIVoM Val de Banquière, but over the years, other competences have broadened its scope of action: early childhood, local area activities (children, youth, sports, leisure), social services, training, markets and construction works, environment and safety, communication.
The masks distributed yesterday will contribute to the health protection of all citizens, with each municipality setting the management rules for these allocations according to its own organization.
For Charles Ange Ginésy: “Since the beginning of the health crisis, the SIVoM agents have been highly mobilized daily to help vulnerable people by going to their homes for meal deliveries or to assist them with household tasks.”
