The Alpes-Maritimes prefecture is launching a platform to combat inadequate housing.

Histologe is the name of the new platform launched by the prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes this Monday, January 17. Its purpose is to combat substandard housing and allows tenants to report problems encountered in their accommodations.

“The fight against substandard housing is a priority of governmental action,” the prefecture wrote in a statement.

Now the online platform allows for the centralization of reports to find a quick response to issues encountered in housing.

This free platform, accessible via a computer, tablet, or smartphone without the need to create an account, allows, for example, easy and quick reporting of issues encountered in housing (mold, humidity, etc.). It also enables users to perform a self-assessment of their accommodation by adding photos and/or comments. Finally, the platform allows tenants to be supported free of charge in finding a solution with all public partners.

The platform is accessible at the following link: habitat-indigne06.histologe.fr
