Five new cities on the Côte d’Azur are being referred to the Administrative Court this Friday, September 9, for their “anti-burkini” decrees, which have been maintained despite the Council of State’s ruling that censored the municipal decrees.

The request comes from the human rights defense association, the Collective Against Islamophobia in France.

The affected municipalities are Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Théoule-sur-Mer, Vallauris, Cagnes-sur-Mer, and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat.
