The anti-health pass and anti-vaccine protesters marched again this Saturday.

Latest News

Since early July, every weekend, anti-vaccine and anti-health pass movements have been marching in France. This Saturday, demonstrators in Nice once again took to the streets.

Last week, the few people from Nice who protested against the implementation of the health pass and mandatory vaccination were more than 6,000 in the streets of the capital of the French Riviera.

This Saturday, August 21, the protest gathered more than 3,000 people (according to the police). It started around 2:30 PM with a speech by Martine Wonner, a deputy from Bas-Rhin, known as a figure of the conspiracist and anti-vaccine movement. The procession then headed towards the center of Nice via Avenue de la Rรฉpublique, passing in front of the Palais des expositions, the cityโ€™s largest vaccination center.

Firefighters in uniform led the march, as was the case a few weeks ago. This time, they appeared masked to protect themselves from sanctions related to marching in uniform.
