Art and antiquity had been somewhat neglected in Monaco for the past few years. For the first time in 5 years, the principality is once again hosting Antique Dealers at the Sporting d’Hiver from February 26th to March 1st. Three days during which you can admire jewelry, display items, curiosities, and silverware. Thirty-five professionals have scoured private collections and fairs to find furniture and art objects from the 16th to the 20th century for your visual delight.

After experiencing a rather gloomy period at the end of 2009 due to the economic crisis, “the antique market is gradually recovering,” says Delphine Bouillet, the organizer of the fair. “Currently, 20th-century art and contemporary art are quite trendy,” she continues.

Fifteen hundred people are expected at this fair over these 3 days. No matter your budget, the exhibitors will be delighted to show you their treasures. This fair promises to be magnificent.
