Welcome patients into a brighter, more airy, more pleasant space despite the absence of daylight; this is the challenge of the new Françoise Bussière Space, which will be inaugurated this Monday at the Antoine Lacassagne Center in the presence of Prof. Joël GUIGAY, General Director of the Center, Prof. Jacques DARCOURT, Head of the Imaging Department, and Prof. Françoise BUSSIERE, Head of the Nuclear Medicine Department from 1975 to 2009.
“The desire for this renovation is, in fact, very old,” explains Prof. Jacques DARCOURT, “since Françoise Bussière, who led the department for 30 years until 2009, was already very concerned about it. The choice to name the space Françoise Bussière therefore naturally imposed itself as a tribute, particularly to her constant concern for the well-being of patients and her colleagues, which always inspired her.”
