The Antoine Lacassagne Center welcomes the Pink Ribbon: all in solidarity!

This Thursday, the Antoine Lacassagne Center is organizing a large-scale event to raise awareness about the importance of screening and prevention in the fight against breast cancer.

It is hosting The Ribbon of Hope, a national event supported by Collectif K, which brings together 20 French associations that assist cancer patients.

The Ribbon of Hope has become the major event of Pink October over the past 8 years and is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, the National Cancer Institute, and the High Authority of Health.

In 2015, it will spread across 17 cities in France, symbolically passing the Ribbon of Hope from city to city with themes including: healthy movement, healthy eating, and well-being.

Since 2008, 30,000 km have been traveled, 117 stops, 66 participating cities, 130 days of events, over 1,200 partners, and thousands of participants!

This Thursday, it stops in Nice, at the Antoine Lacassagne Cancer Center, which is organizing numerous activities open to everyone throughout the day: conferences, workshops, a healthy buffet lunch…
