The apprenticeship training center Epure Méditerranée is celebrating its 20th anniversary this Thursday, September 26*, providing an opportunity to assess the evolution of work-study in higher education.
The CFA Epure Méditerranée brings together apprenticeship training programs from the 4 universities of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur Region (Nice Sophia Antipolis, Toulon, Aix-Marseille, and Avignon); it currently has over 2000 apprentices enrolled in 69 apprenticeship programs from a two-year degree to a five-year degree.
Apprenticeship training in universities has seen significant growth over the past 20 years under the leadership of the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region.
Favored by businesses and students, it provides a space where rich relationships are formed between the educational teams of higher education training programs and economic actors.
The composition of the CFA’s councils, where employer representatives, professional branches, employee union representatives, academicians, and representatives of the Regional Council sit side by side, is a testament to this.
Moreover, to affirm their commitment to this training modality and their desire to see it develop significantly in the coming years, all the stakeholders of work-study have arranged to meet for several events, the first of which will take place today.
