To each age its diploma! While for high school students it’s exam period to obtain the Bac, June is also the time for diplomas for the artisans of the Côte d’Azur who receive their certificate of artisanal recognition.
Under the leadership of the dynamic president of the consular chamber, Jean-Pierre Galvez, and during a festive evening, 35 artisans received the certificate that attests to their quality, the “A blue,” which they can display in their business, and 7 received the “A red” for master craftsman/woman.
This 2015 promotion was also the occasion to award the Higher Mastery Certificate (BMS) to Carine Fiorucci and the business management of an artisan company to Grégory Krizanaz.
A great evening that allowed Jean-Pierre Galvez to recall the place of crafts in the economic world (35,000 businesses for 72,000 workers and 4.5 billion in revenue in the Alpes-Maritimes), its dynamism (5,480 businesses created with a positive balance of 1,600 in 2014) and its essential role as a player in the local economy.
